#8 How To Beat Your Peers

You are just as good or strong as anybody you see, know, or hear about. 

Remember, since the only difference between you and them is in terms of achievements, and because there is something you can do right now to significantly enhance the outcomes you’re getting now, you have the potential to be much more successful than they are.

Your personal capacity to persevere may be the element that propels you into the “big leagues,” multiplying your income from both a financial and psychological standpoint.

You may already know how to do what others do (if not, you may learn), and since your potential power is limitless, you can accomplish much more than they do today. 

Most instructors will agree, after some persuasion, that the typical person can only read at a grade six or seven level. Using this knowledge, think about the work you’re performing now and ask yourself, “How good am I at it?” and “How much better might I be?” Are you retaining at a six grade level or have you focused on one thing and mastered it?

You won’t need to spend a lot of time studying to acquire the information you need, since the line between knowledge and ignorance may be as thin as “the Razor’s Edge.” 

Just try again, this time with zeal, and you may be surprised to see how far your achievements have progressed from the mundane to the exceptional!
